New Font... It is Me.

Pin It

I have a new font for you, it is actually my handwriting... well one of them. I totally have multiple personalities when it comes to my handwriting - so you might end up seeing another one from me some time in the future!  Don't forget if you want to get a handwriting of your own you can purchase it HERE.

But let's get right to business...

Available HERE

And here are a couple examples:

Both examples use a new kit out from Chelle's Creations and Connie Prince.

So fun!

Can't wait to see your pages or projects using this new font.

Have a great week... we have a busy week ahead, but see you next Friday!

Groupon... scrapbook deal today.

Pin It

I caved and bought a groupon deal today!  You know how much I love to coupon, well this is similar but it is strength in numbers.  Lots of people are buying the product and it is like getting a group discount on things!

So you want to know what pushed me over the edge today to buy something at Groupon?? They have $100 worth of scrapbooks from Picab0o for only $25!!!! Wow what a great deal. They don't do square books so this is not the deal for everyone - but how fun would it be to create a book of your children's artwork with one of these books?  You don't have to spend it all at once either!  {Enter your city as Pittsburgh, PA to see this deal}

Even if you are not interested in this offer they have TONS of great deals each day ... specific to your area, or browse around other cities.

If you decide to sign up with Groupon, would you please use my referral link!

I can't wait to get working on more pages so I can get another book printed. I will be sure to show you when I get the book... it won't be before Christmas!

Let me know if you want to hear about crafty releated Groupons and I will pass them on when I see them.

And that means the need for a bigger backpack! Which is just the thing I have for this week.

This uses Vintage Charm from Jennifer Barrette.

Here are a couple examples from the girls on my team.

Sandi: {notice she put a beautiful flower on hers as well!

Notice that Tamara is using Created: All Around right on her preview!!!

I should mention that the front flap does come with the template for the front pocket - we just all chose not to have it on there!

By the way I have added a few guests this month and will have a couple joining me next month as well! Hope you are enjoying seeing what they are creating.  Watch this week for some Templates in Action.

Before you go... my project:

Here is the flower that is on my backpack... just a little bit closer.

Want to create one like that... check out this tutorial!

Have a great week, see you next Friday... I have another font for you!

See you during the week for a few cards to show off to you from Tamara.

My project is being linked up to the following blogs: - Photo for inspiration - Vintage or Shabby  {oops this one closed - but they do have great challenges!} - All Shapes & Sizes - "U" - Unused stash (that ribbon has been in my stash for a few years - I actually got it initially for hair bows!  The eyelets I used on the back are also about 5 years old.

Calendar Brushes, Toppers and a Created stamp!

Pin It

Did you see the backpack tutorial I posted on Tuesday? If not head here to see it! You can get the backpack template in my store at ScrapMatters.

I wasn't planning on a big release this week but really wanted to get some calendar stuff out there for you!

First let me show you the non calendar item!

Have you created a hybrid project and want to "stamp" your name on there. Now you can! I have created these "Created" stamps so you can do just that - Includes 8 different sayings (all in 4 different font choices). Plus you can get your name digitalized as part of the purchase price. {Additional names can be purchased as well}

Check out an example:

These are perfect for all sorts of calendar items, or place directly on a layout!

And then I have this calendar topper:

Want to see how to use this:

Here are some other examples:

Sharon - who laminated hers and is using a white board marker for her to do list!

{doesn't this look fabulous with all the different colors!}

Heidi (SM CT)

Rebecca (who put the calendar on the other side)

Amanda - another with the grid example too!

And here is the one I did:

Whew! You made it this far... get 20% off just for being a blog readers {note that usually I only offer this to my newsletter subscribers, but this was a long post and you deserve it if you made it this far!}

Your code to use is: Blog20%  this code will be valid until Monday
