Charity Collaboration for Give the Kids the World Village

I am a big Disney fan and when you can combine Disney and a fabulous charity – it doesn’t get much better than that!

Check out this fabulous collaboration (it is HUGE – 72 papers, over 200 elements, 3 alphas and a template!) and it is only $10 and ALL of the sales will benefit Give the Kids the World Village.  For more information about the charity and see some example layouts head over to the MouseScrappers forum.

This is what I created for the kit:

And I posted this freebie awhile ago but thought it goes great with this kit – since we are celebrating you @ Disney!  I am showing it again for those who might have missed it before!

Now what are you waiting for go BUY the kit now!

Vintage Surf Shop–FREEBIE!

The designers at ScrapMatters divided into teams to create three incredible collabs with one awesome color scheme!  Our team (including me, Inspirations from Day, geniaBeana Scraps, Haynay Designs & Elise’s Peices) chose to create "Vintage Surf Shop"—it has a nice lake and beachy feel.  With 24 papers, more than 60 elements and a fantastic checkered alphabet, you're sure to find lots of great uses for this awesome kit! It's on sale for 20% off right now at the SM shop, too!

Here is a look at the kit:

And guess what I have a little freebie for you!

Grab it at 4Shared.

Be sure to visit the blogs of the other contributors to grab their freebies as well!  But before you do that – sign up for my newsletter.

Style Trends

One thing that seems to be very popular lately is vinyl quotes that you can put on your wall. The letters are cut out with a Cricut or similar machine and then stuck to the wall, letter by letter, or using transfer tape. It looks really cool, but all I can think of is the labor involved! So I am excited to see that there are easier ways to put up cool wall art with your favorite quotes. It can all by done on your computer, printed out on nice paper, and framed for the wall. Portable, easy, cheap, easily customizable to your tastes, and no special equipment necessary! Maybe you're like me, and have trouble coming up with your own quotes. Luckily there are designers to do the work for you, like these templates from Krisi's Kreations:

I'm excited to see what may be next in this series (no pressure, Krisi! lol)!

Sunshine & LDS Blog Train Wall Art too!

Busy day here on the blog. I must first start by saying where did August go? My kids have been in school for a month already – it just seems CRAZY!  Welcome to everyone, those who stumbled upon my blog, those who are here from a freebie site, those following the LDS blog train, and those who support me each week by checking in here and buying something that stimulates your own creativity!  If you are riding on the LDS Blog Train you should have just come from My 4 Princesses designs at

For the first time I have created something for the September Mix A Kit at ScrapMatters.  I have this fun Wall Art, but be sure to check out every thing really well.. Remember that if you have a photo layering program (like Adobe Elements, Adobe Photoshop, Creative Memories SBC, etc.) you can change the color of each item before you print them.  For those without a photo layering program I have included a JPG and PDF version for you to just send to the photo lab and have it printed.  This is the case with all Wall Art that I create.  You do have the option to have me customize the colors for $5 more.

I just love how bright and cheery it is. Check out this one that I did up for my daughters room.

And until Sunday you can get them for 20% off – spread the word!

For the LDS Blog Train this month I chose this saying.  I hope you enjoy the Wall Art that I create for the LDS Blog Trains every other month – let me know if you do!  If you have a saying you would like to see – let me know in the comments. If I choose your saying you will receive the product free!

Available on 4Shared.

The next stop on this train is Let Me Scrapbook -  If you got lost along the way check the LDS Blog Train Blog for a complete list of participants.

Just a side note – Shelf Reliance is now offering a gluten free line!  We carry things such as Amaranth, Quinoa, Millet, and Rice Flour.  If interested in ordering just send me an e-mail or check out that blog at

Oh yeah - Chelle of Chelle’s Creations is having a little giveaway of her newly released kit – it has been revealed but you still have a chance to win it – head to her blog at   Here is a little peek for you!
