Back to School Trio

Hi...Sandi here...Krisi is on a much needed break and getting her oldest daughter ready to go back to school on Monday.  So, I'm here filling in for her.  Hope you enjoy what I've got for you.
It's hard to believe it's almost August.  For some of you, you are getting ready to send your kiddos back to school.  Here in PA we have until the end of August, but as a third grade teacher I always begin thinking about school the end of July and getting myself geared up for the year.  Every year, the first day of school is so exciting for me.  Welcoming 20+ students into my classroom and watching them grow emotionally, socially and academically over the year is just such a joy.  So...in celebration of back to school I have worked on a few projects to get in gear.  Hopefully, it will get your creative juices flowing too and you'll be able to start the year right by sending in a special little gift for your child's teacher.

My first project is a coffee mug that I decorated all up. I bought the tumbler at Starbucks.

Here is the template that I used to make it.  You can buy it here.

Here's my second project...a sticker holder.  Every teacher needs a place to organize his/her stickers.

Here is the template that I used to make it.  This template is so versatile.  There are so many uses for this.  I can see this holding flash cards, of course recipes,...think anything that you would use 3X5 for.  The possibilities are endless.  You can buy the template here.

And my last project is a notepad holder.  Teachers always have "to do" lists.
the inside:

Here is the template that I used to make the legal pad wrap.  What I love so much about Krisi's templates is the choices she gives you to meet the needs of  your own creative side.  In this one you can make bracket, scallop, round or straight flap.  You can buy it here.

On all three projects I used this letter set.  Love it!!!

You can find this fun alphabet here.
Well, there you have it! Three great teacher gifts for back to school! If you are headed back to school have a great week! Have fun! If you aren't headed back to school, enjoy some more much needed vacation and create!
Hugs,
Sandi
