{Project Life} Week 17

Well. That is all. This weekend I actually scrapped my pages and started my post for yesterday, but then my computer started freezing – a few times, so I turned it off – unplugged it and am forcing myself to use my laptop now. I need to – I bought this back in November to use so I could scrap anywhere but I would only install PhotoShop on it and not PSE so I have resisted it!  So I did back everything up and then hooked up the external to the laptop and am making a list of things I need to get off the computer that I didn’t have saved.  Oy.  So needless to say I didn’t have my post that I had started on this computer and I had to figure out how to save my pages to put on the web – they were still TIFF files.

I figured it out… today – since I worked yesterday. I not only worked at the hospital but I had a great Shelf Reliance party in the morning.

We went away for the long weekend and I worked tonight – so needless to say the second half of the weeks pages are not yet done. {Project Life} Week 6 & Digi Link Up

Happy Valentine’s Day!  Sorry I didn’t post on Friday or Monday – it skipped my mind that it was my turn to post!  I do have my new products that came out this past week down below for you to see though!

Each year I think I am going to have a grand plan and do all kinds of fun things for the kids and hubby but I never do! I did get them a few presents (clothes for the girls & coupons for dad) but that is as far as I went.

Have been to work 3 times – I survived!  Actually it was quite enjoyable, my patience was much better and I really felt like I was able to make a difference.

Now onto why you are here – Project Life. I just love seeing everyone’s pages – a little peek into your life! I didn’t get started early this week, I did it tonight – but I love the collage pictures I added in. They are templates from Designs by Lili (I could have created them myself but decided it would just be easier to buy them – since this project is all about making memory keeping easier (and it totally has made it easier).  The papers are from Chelle’s Creations – What a Hoot kit and the fonts are Veteran’s Typewriter, SMD Niki & my own handwriting.

Did you include something about Whitney Houston on your pages? We grew up listening to her music – and was tragic news to hear of her death.

I am on Studio Basic's CT as a guest. This uses a new release called Love, Love, Kiss, Kiss that recently came out.

Another similar card but this one uses my Write It Out: Greeting Sentiments for the sentiment/word art.

{Sunday Scraps}

I have not done a huge amount of scrapbooking in the past year or so, but for 2011 that will be changing. I also hope to post what I have scrapped right here on my blog in a new feature that hopefully is weekly called Sunday Scraps.

The journaling is from Mommom  {my grandma} directly. This is my grandma and grandpa on my dad's side... It was so fun to scrap this. 

It uses two new releases from ScrapMatters - Blessings by Chelle's Creations and TempBlends Vol. 8 from Jenn Lindsey (guesting)

These pages are also linked to my gallery where you can find all the credits - they use some "older" stuff!

Hopefully I will get more pages scrapped this week to show off!
